Can Second Mile improve an existing HubSpot portal?
Yes, and it is one of the more common ways we start. We audit what is in the portal, keep what works, clean up the data, and rebuild the parts that were built for a different version of the business. You do not have to start over to get a portal your team will use.
Do we need a separate audit or roadmap before an implementation?
Usually not as a separate purchase. If you already use HubSpot, some form of audit or portal review is generally included at the start of the engagement, so recommendations are based on what is there. If you are new to HubSpot, there is no existing portal to audit, and the strategic roadmap is built as the first part of the implementation. The depth of review depends on what the engagement needs.
Is this service only for connectivity and IT service providers?
No. Much of our HubSpot work is with ISPs, fiber providers, and MSPs, and we also work with universities and mid-market B2B teams. The method is the same. What changes is which systems HubSpot has to agree with, and that is settled in the first stage of every engagement.
How is the first phase scoped?
In discovery, with the people who own the systems HubSpot will connect to. We agree what the first phase has to support, build that, and leave later phases as your decision, made with better evidence. Flexible scope is not unlimited scope; the finish line is defined before we start.
Which HubSpot subscriptions will we need?
Most clients we work with use HubSpot Professional or Enterprise. Professional is typically the starting point, but it is not a hard requirement. The roadmap helps identify which hubs and seats the work needs, and we will tell you when a hub you are considering is not worth buying yet.
Who is responsible for cleaning up data before a migration?
It depends, and we decide it together before the work starts. Sometimes your team knows the data best and does the cleanup with our guidance. Sometimes it makes more sense for us to do it. Either way it is planned in advance, not discovered mid-migration.
What support is available after the first phase?
Training and documentation are part of every build, and your team will be able to run the day-to-day. Many of our clients choose ongoing support and improvement as a monthly engagement, for new HubSpot features, new campaigns and automations, and the next phase of work when the business is ready for it.
