As a Freelance Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites for clients on a project basis. You will collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality, customized websites that meet their needs. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and effective communication skills.

In this role you’ll get to:

• Create best-in-class websites on a number of platforms with a particular focus on WordPress, HubSpot, and Shopify
• Write custom HTML, PHP, CSS and JavaScript for existing websites and applications
• Update and edit website content, posts and pages
• Design, recommend and pitch improvements to new and existing features
• Assist in troubleshooting issues on web-based systems
• Provide technical support related to web-based systems
• Develop website strategies and recommendations 
• Test and give feedback on new and existing technologies
• Create prototypes and experiment with new technologies and features as assigned

Job Description

As a Virtual Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our organization by providing comprehensive administrative support remotely. You will be responsible for handling various administrative tasks, ensuring efficiency, and contributing to the overall productivity of the team.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Calendar Management: Schedule appointments, meetings, and events for team members, ensuring efficient use of time and resources. Coordinate and manage calendars to avoid conflicts and keep everyone informed.
  • Email Correspondence: Manage and respond to emails promptly, sorting and prioritizing messages as necessary. Draft and send professional correspondence on behalf of team members.
  • Data Entry and Organization: Maintain accurate records and databases by entering and updating information as needed. Organize and categorize data to facilitate easy access and retrieval.
  • Document Preparation: Create, format, and proofread documents, reports, presentations, and other materials as required. Ensure all documents adhere to organizational standards and guidelines.
  • Travel Arrangements: Assist with making travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation. Prepare detailed itineraries and ensure all travel plans align with the preferences and schedules of team members.
  • File Management: Maintain an organized filing system for digital documents and folders. Ensure files are properly labeled, stored securely, and easily accessible when needed.
  • Financial Administration: Create, send, and coordinate payment of invoices in a timely fashion. Coordinate with the finance department for expense reconciliation. Ensure payment of staff and contractors according to payroll schedules. 
  • Customer Support: Provide administrative support to clients or customers as needed, including answering inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • General Administrative Tasks: Assist with various administrative duties such as ordering office supplies, coordinating deliveries, and handling incoming calls.

For this person to succeed they will need:

• Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant, or similar role.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Gmail, Google Meet, Calendar, Drive, etc.) and other relevant software such as Slack and ClickUp are preferred. 
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload.
• Reliable internet connection and access to necessary technology for remote work.
• Monday through Thursday availability during Eastern time zone hours. 
• Hours may be fulfilled remotely or in-person at Second Mile’s Knoxville office location. Anticipated weekly hours are approximately 10-20 hours per week.

Second Mile is looking for an Account Strategist whose main focuses are: building and growing excellent client relationships, delivering top-notch strategic services, and coordinating and developing key players on the Second Mile team. Our office is located in Knoxville, TN; however, this position is available to remote applicants as well. 

If this is the job for you, you’ll have the opportunity to oversee a wide variety of HubSpot and RevOps clients. You’ll be the point person and act as the liaison between the client’s goals and needs while also being mindful of internal resources to deliver services on time, within budget, and, our hope is to meet and exceed expectations in that process. You would be working hand-in-hand with a great team like our Chief Solutions Officer, HubSpot specialists, web developers, business development team, and more.

Someone who is successful in this position must have deep knowledge and expertise of the HubSpot platform and will split time between account management, strategy development, and execution of said strategy. They’d also be a go-getter who leads through empathy and sets clear expectations. This person will need strong communication and interpersonal skills to be able to read the room and, at times, strike a balance between the client’s needs and the company’s resources.

Your main goals as an Account Strategist:

• Build and grow client relationships

What you’re responsible for:

• Client Relationships 

• Function as the liaison and main point of contact for assigned accounts

• Respond in a timely, professional, and kind manner to day-to-day communications

• Understand client goals and objectives

• Build a strategy to accomplish the client’s goals

• Plan for and lead client meetings and presentations

• Communicate client expectations and responsibilities

• Understand the scope of work, evaluate potential out-of-scope opportunities, and consult internally for additional project plans and budgets

• Project Execution and Facilitation

• Execute project tasks such as auditing HubSpot portals, building automations, developing HubSpot implementation plans, etc.

• Create and maintain timelines for project deliverables

• Ensure projects are executed within their budgets and create a clear plan with options for remediation if/when that is not the case

• Manage a number of simultaneous projects and set priorities

• Review deliverables, send to the client, consolidate feedback, and communicate to the team

• Organize and document project deliverables, templates, etc. 

• Assign tasks and projects to respective team members or contractors and make sure they have what they need to execute

• Assign or execute ad-hoc client requests by synthesizing the information into a task, provide a due date and time estimation, communicate with the client, and track the task through completion

• Address, solve and collaborate with the team for pain points or roadblocks

• Track project progress and project expenses

• Be ready to lend a hand and support in other tasks/projects as assigned

• Collaborate with internal teams to accomplish tasks

• Coach, train, and elevate team members

• Run meetings and check-in sessions

• Document and follow up on action items from meetings (both internal and external), create tasks within our project management system to execute these items, and ensure those tasks have clear instructions and deadlines

Job Description

If this is the project for you, you’ll have the opportunity to oversee a number of digital lead generation campaigns. You’ll be the subject matter expert when it comes to campaign performance and digital advertising strategies. You would be working hand-in-hand with a great team like our Chief Solutions Officer, Account Strategists, business development team, and more.

A successful contractor for this role must have deep knowledge and expertise of advertising platforms (LinkedIn, Google, Meta, TikTok, etc.) including campaign creation, optimization, budget management, and analytics. They’d also be a go-getter who leads through empathy and sets clear expectations. 

Responsibilities:

• Create campaigns across multiple platforms (ex: Google Adwords, Bing Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) with the goal of achieving maximum ROI

• Monitor campaigns closely in order to quickly adjust bids or budgets based on performance

• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, pains points and make recommendations accordingly

• Develop creative strategies that align with company goals

• Optimize keyword bid strategies for highest ROI in search campaigns

• Provide detailed monthly reports with analysis of key performance metrics

Requirements:

• North American based and fluent in English

• Proven experience creating successful PPC and Google Ads campaigns

• Exceptional knowledge of platform tools such as AdWords, Analytics, & Meta 

• Ability to think creatively about different campaigns objectives and strategies

• Strong analytical skills with ability to problem solve

• Excellent communication skills
